Daily wholesale and retail accounts of this general merchandise store established in 1853. The firm engaged in the fur trade, maintained posts among the Indians, furnished supplies to Indian agencies, opened a direct trade with Manitoba, and entered the pork-packing business. Members of the firm were George Culver and John Farrington.
